York City Boys Academy Open Trials
In the Easter Holidays, York City FC are holding open trials for the boys U8-U16 age groups. Successful trialists will be invited to train and play with their age group until the end of the current season. From there, selections will be made for the 2025/26 season squads.
Players who are unsuccessful at this trial opportunity, may be invited to trial with York City FC Foundation’s Player Pathway to ensure that every possible chance to be part of York City FC is available.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
Academy coaches will deliver a short warm-up session followed by some small-sided games so that we can maximise the amount of time we are watching everyone playing.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER
Upon successful completion of booking you will receive a confirmation e-mail; you then just need to turn up on the day! For those successful at Open Trial, they will be then invited into Academy sessions until the end of the May for further assessment.
